Sizzling Tuna Sisig
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Magnolia Gold Butter, salted
2 pc. tofu (2 cups)
1/2 cup white onions, chopped
2 pc. green finger chili, slice each diagonally into 3
2 pc. eggs
Tuna Mixture:
1 cup tuna chunks or solid - drained
1 tbsp calamansi juice
1 tbsp liquid seasoning
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup mashed soft tofu
Topping:
1 pc. loaf French bread, sliced diagonally into 16 pieces
Procedure:
- Prepare one 12-inch deep round frying pan, melt the butter.
- Fry the tofu, cut into 1/4 inch cubes. Drain on paper towel.
- Put in a bowl, tuna chunks, calamansi juice, liquid seasoning, sugar, pepper and mashed soft tofu.
- Put butter, onions, and finger chili in hot frying pan.
- Add tuna mixture and mix for a few seconds
- Add cooked firm tofu. Mix well.
- Transfer to 2 plates. Top each plate with one egg. Serve bread on the side.
